Liturgy

The Celebration of Mass is at the heart of the Parish's life. The Parish Mass is celebrated on a Saturday Night at 6pm. This Mass is well attended bringing people from all three Parishes. Our Joint Easter Vigil is seen as the highlight in the Church's calendar. The Parish endeavours to involve and integrate our three Parish Communities. St Joseph's is used for joint Parish events because it is the largest Church. Ministers now take Holy Communion to the sick and housebound each week and lay Leaders of the Word and Eucharist act in the absence of the Priest.

Witness

St Joseph, Patrick and Cuthbert We enjoy Lenten Courses and have a Cafe promoted in the Parish as a joint Parish venture. There is also an active Legion of Mary which visits to the housebound and sick of the Parish.

Service

We have an active Ladies Group Fund Raising and enjoy great social activities organised by these good ladies. Opened recently is our Piety Shop serving the needs of the people with piety goods cards etc. There is an afternoon club each week to encourage community spirit and togetherness and, as an aside, this group are great at fund raising activities. We also enjoy wonderful teams of flower arrangers and church cleaners.

St Joseph, Patrick and Cuthbert Representatives from the Parish serve as foundation Governors at our local School which helps to encourage links between that school and the Parish. We all feel that there is a genuine commitment and a sense of caring in our Parish and our active children's Liturgy brings children and their Parents to Mass and the Sacraments in good numbers.
